By the end of this course Students will be able to: 1. Understand the purpose of packaging design 2. Create effective and innovative package design solutions. 3. Utilize effective packaging principles and techniques to influence consumer choice 4. Understand the form and function requirements that packaging must, enclose, inform and persuade. 6. Evaluate effective packaging methods and processes 7. Implement recommendations from focus groups in order to understand consumer behaviour and create a better 8. Collaborate within a group 9. Prepare professional presentations from initial phase research to a full comprehensive package. 10. Be conscious of sustainable design issues

- Attend at least 80% of contact hours in order to be accepted to the final examination - Actively participate in class activities - Fulfil tasks given by intructor after class - Use their own laptop in class only for learning purpose - Read the textbook in advance - Access the course website (www.cms.fpt.edu.vn) for up-to-date information and material of the course, for online supports from teachers and other students and for practicing and assessment. - Computer with some version of photograph editing software such as Photoshop, Microsoft Word for written assignments, and POWERPOINT for presentations - Have color papers, kéo, dao, băng dính, bút dạ, bút màu,...
