This course is designed as an introduction to the basic techniques and principles necessary for audio production in today's media. The course develops principles for creative music making and production techniques using studio music technologies and digital audio workstations. As a Multimedia course, the student will understand the aesthetics of sound, musically, voice, and as a result, develop critical listening and analysis skills for music production through the completion of regular listening exercises. Class critiques will be part of the projects produced.
