This course is an introductory survey of artificial intelligence. The course will cover the history, theory, and computational methods of artificial intelligence. Basic concepts include representation of knowledge and computational methods for reasoning. One or two application areas will be studied, to be selected from expert systems, robotics, natural language processing, computer vision and image processing. Assessment scheme: 1) On-going Assessment: - 01 Assignments/Labs/HW: 20% - Exercise: 10% - At least 2 progress tests: 30% 2) 01 Final Exam: 40% 3) Final Result: 100% Completion Criteria: 1) Every on-going assessment component >0 2) Final Exam Score >=4 & Final Result >=5
