Mô tả
The Circuit Design Project course aims to provide students with both theoretical understanding and practical experience in modern electronic circuit design. By the end of the course, students will be able to: - Understand and apply the modern electronic circuit design process — from requirement analysis, schematic design, and PCB layout to to manufacturing and hardware validation. - Demonstrate proficiency in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as KiCad, Altium or Cadence OrCAD (optional), capable of designing and verifying single-layer and double-layer PCBs. - Integrate hardware and firmware (using MCU STM32/Nucleo; ESP32/ESP8266, Arduino...) to test and validate their hardware designs and circuit functionality. - Develop key engineering competencies including teamwork, communication, documentation, and project management aligned with industry practice. - Cultivate creativity and innovation by designing functional and application-oriented electronic products, with potential extensions in IoT, sensing, control, or embedded systems.
Phân bổ thời gian
Study hour (150h) = 45h contact hours + 105h self-study
Nhiệm vụ sinh viên
Students are expected to: - Students must attend at least 80% of contact sessions in order to be accepted to the final examination. - Attend and participate actively in lectures, labs, and discussions according to the weekly schedule - Complete all project milestones, including: - Collaborate effectively in teams, including task allocation, maintaining project logs, and performing peer reviews of other teams’ designs - Engage in self-directed learning by exploring components, IoT modules, and best practices in EMC/EMI and layout optimization - Deliver and present the Final Project, including a functional PCB prototype, working firmware, a comprehensive technical report, and a live or recorded demonstration
