In this course, students will learn basic security issues in computer communications, classical cryptographic algorithms, symmetric-key cryptography, public-key cryptography, authentication, and digital signatures. These topics should prove useful to those who are new to cybersecurity, and those with some experience.

Student must get the certification of Introduction to Applied Cryptography specialization from Coursera to be accepted to the final examination

1. Complete the online course to be allowed to take Final Exam 2. Final Exam is included of Final Theory Exam (TE) & Final Practical Exam (PE): 100% 3. Student gets 0.25 bonus points for each course completed on time. The total bonus point is not greater than 1. 4. Completion Criteria: Final TE Score >=4 & Final PE Score >=4 & ((Final TE Score + Final PE Score)/2 + bonus) >= 5 5. In the case: (5 > Final TE Score >=4) & (5 > Final PE Score >=4) & ((Final TE Score + Final PE Score)/2 + bonus) < 5, the student can choose to take the resit of both TE & PE OR just either TE or PE.
