- The subject will be carried out in the Drawing studio with specific requirements on learning materials. - .The subject helps students to analyze, drawing, and study the plaster cast head. Students enjoy the skills of building up, hatch and gain basic knowledge of portrait drawing. - The subject helps students understand the basic proportion of the portrait, the proportion of eyes, nose, mouth and ears. - The subject helps students distinguish between plaster cast and live model. Prepare basic knowledges for Anatomy and Quick-drawing subject. - Each drawing lasts for six slots and is performed in the classroom, under the guidance of the lecturer. The final class of the sixth slot will be scored. Lecturers and students make a mutual assessment, lecturer gives final score and will be counted as the credit mark.

- Attend at least 80% of contact hours in order to be accepted to the final examination - Actively participate in class activities - Fulfil tasks given by intructor after class - Use their own laptop in class only for learning purpose - Read the textbook and references in advance - Access the course website (https://flm.fpt.edu.vn/) for up-to-date information and material of the course. - Complete course's Portfolio with full contents of exercises and submit to the teacher 1 day after the course.

School: a) For students: - Easel. - 40 x 60 (cm) size board. - 60 x 90 (cm) size board. b) For drawing studio: - 02 pedestal, podium: 120L x 70W x 100H (cm) - 05 drapery samples, size 150x150 (cm), five colors: black, white, grey , blue and brown. - Plaster cast male head (quantity: 02), plaster cast female head (quantity: 01). - Model: Recommend maximum 25 students/model. The type of model might be a live model or a composite full body statue with muscle and bone separation or other types that appropriate to the implementation condition at each campus. - 01 shelves. - 01 projector. 2. Student: - Graphite pencil or Charcoal pencil. - Drawing tube. - Eraser - Gauges, wires, clamps, pins... - A2 size drawing paper - Knife.
