Mô tả
- This course advances students’ expertise in embedded system design and software development through the S32K144 microcontroller platform. It emphasizes how microcontrollers interface with the outside world via key peripherals and communication standards, including SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN, and how these resources can be configured to support data acquisition, device control, and system integration. - In parallel, the course develops students’ ability to apply structured C programming techniques to unlock the microcontroller’s capabilities, manage resources efficiently, and implement reliable communication between modules. Topics covered include the CMSIS framework, the ARM Cortex-M architecture, exception and interrupt handling, and in-depth practice with peripherals such as ADC, PIT Timer, I2C, UART, and CAN. The course also introduces Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) concepts, focusing on task management, multitasking, and scheduling. - Hands-on sessions using S32 Design Studio and SDK provide direct experience with coding, debugging, and system testing on the S32K144 board. The program concludes with a mock test, ensuring students can synthesize theoretical and practical knowledge to tackle complex embedded applications in automotive and industrial contexts.

Nhiệm vụ sinh viên
- Students must attend at least 80% of contact sessions to be eligible for the final assessment. - Complete all exercises, assignments, labs, and coding tasks assigned by the instructor both in class and at home, and submit on time. - Use laptops and development boards strictly for learning and project purposes during class. - Regularly access the FU FLM portal (https://flm.fpt.edu.vn/) for updated course materials and announcements. - Maintain a lab notebook documenting advanced practical work, source code, debugging steps, system configurations, and learnings. - Actively participate in hands-on labs by programming, configuring, and testing peripherals (ADC, PIT Timer, I2C, UART, SPI, CAN) on the S32K144 board. - Form project groups (3–5 members) to design and implement an advanced automotive/industrial embedded application, integrating communication protocols and interrupt handling, and present outcomes with demo and technical report. - Apply advanced C programming techniques, CMSIS, and RTOS task management to optimize resource usage and system performance; seek instructor feedback and iterate on improvements.
