Mô tả
The course is designed to familiarize students with translation and interpretation in tourism. The course focuses on (1) interlingual translation of different types of tourism documents and (2) the interpreting practice of tourism. During the course, the lesson may be conducted in various forms including documents, news, traditional lectures, exhibitions, tours, field trips... After taking this course, students should be able to: - Demonstrate a clear understanding terms used in tourism - Clearly understand different types and formats of texts used in tourism - Demonstrate a clear understanding of different types and settings of tourism interpretation - Translate and interpret and news and documents in tourism from Vietnamese into English and vice-versa

Study hour (150h) = 45 contact hours (60 sessions) + 2 hours final exam + 103 hours self-study

Attend at least 80% of contact hours in order to be accepted to the final examination Actively participate in class activities Fulfill tasks given by instructor after class Use their own laptops in class only for learning purposes Read the theory in advance
