Students will explore a diverse range of literary genres, including fiction, poetry, drama, and film. Through close reading and critical thinking, students will develop essential skills in interpreting and analyzing literary texts. The course emphasizes the development of analytical frameworks and the ability to identify and discuss key literary elements such as character, plot, setting, theme, style, and language. Students will also learn to situate literary works within their historical, cultural, and social contexts.
