The course helps to build and develop the translation skills for 3rd year students so that at the end of the course learners will be well-versed in the English-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-English translation. Students are expected to acquire and apply basic knowledge of theoretical aspects covering from translation methods, translating process, equivalence, and cultural issues... in their translation. By applying the basic theoretical knowledge, students are expected to be able to efficiently handle compiled jobs in a classroom hypothetical environment, maintain and develop basic English language skills in accordance with translation of 4 main types of texts (C1 standard) including: narrative texts,descriptiom texts, discussion texts, and dialogues.
