Objectives: The course is designed to help undergraduate students enhance their business communication via authentic and various written forms such as emails, cover letters, and CVs. With practical tips and detailed guidelines, students will be able to write more effectively and appropriately in business contexts, assuring success in delivering key messages. Additionally, students will be introduced and guided to use AI-powered writing assistants (such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini) to support drafting, revising, and analyzing business texts. This helps them leverage technology effectively while maintaining critical judgment and ethical awareness in professional communication. Description ENB302 addresses a wide-ranging spectrum of business communication with the straightforward seven-step method. These easy-to-follow steps save students time from start to finish, and helpful checklists will boost their confidence in business writing. Students will learn to promote themselves and their ideas clearly and concisely―whether putting together a persuasive project proposal or dealing with daily email. The course also provides comprehensive examples for all the most popular forms of communication, including slide presentations, résumés, cover letters, web copy, and a thorough guide to the art of crafting e-mails and instant messages. Insightful sidebars from experts in various fields demystify the skills of self-editing, creating content, and overcoming writer’s block, and the author’s reference-ready resources on style, punctuation, and grammar will keep students' writing error-free. In addition, the course integrates the use of widely accessible AI tools in Vietnam (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini) to enhance writing efficiency, provide instant feedback, and encourage reflective learning. This integration equips students with digital literacy, critical awareness, and ethical understanding of how to use AI responsibly in business communication. Teaching Methods: The teaching & learning process includes a variety of methods: From teachers’ side: lectures, guided learning, feedback and corrections; From students’ side: discussions, reading, research, writing and self-study. To complement these, students will also engage in AI-assisted writing practice (e.g., drafting, paraphrasing, and self-editing with ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot, or Gemini) and AI-supported peer review, ensuring they experience both traditional and technology-enhanced approaches to business writing. --------------------------------------------------------- AI TOOLS: 1.
