-Objective: Help students develop clear and intelligible English pronunciation with a neutral and comprehensible accent. Help students recognize and produce individual English consonant sounds, including place of articulation, manner of articulation, voicing contrasts, aspiration, difficult contrasts (/θ/–/s/, /ʃ/–/s/, /r/–/l/…) (e.g., /θ/–/s/, /ʃ/–/s/, /r/–/l/) Help students identify diversity of sound systems. Help students know how to use AI-assisted tools to practice pronunciation tools (e.g., ELSA, SpeechAce, Speechling) to receive instant feedback, identify mispronounced sounds, and improve segmental features. Help students know how to recognize and produce correct word stress, sentence stress, weak forms, linking, and rhythm. Help students know how to practice shadowing with AI-generated audio to improve naturalness and speech fluency. Help students know how to distinguish segmental features Help students know how to diagnose personal listening weaknesses through AI performance analytics. Help students know how to develop self-learning habits using AI apps for daily pronunciation practice. '-Description: 'This course covers key features of English pronunciation, including consonants, vowels, diphthongs, sound combinations, word and sentence stress, rhythm, intonation, tone, accents, and phonemic symbols. Students develop clearer and more fluent speech through practical exercises and AI-supported pronunciation practice. '-Teaching method: optional '- Apply AI tools effectively to support self-study, self-practice.
