Description: This course provides an introduction to visual design for students and provides them with the basic knowledge of design, visual principles, and visual form of a composition of art. Students will be able to lay out the composition of art works, analyze, and evaluate the effect of design elements in each composition on human eyes. Through this course, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to develop concepts, manipulate materials, and apply art elements and design principles to create effective and appropriate visual works based on the learned knowledge and skills.

1. Class attendance is strongly encouraged. Attend at least 80% of class hours in order to be accepted to the final examination 2. Actively participate in class activities 3. Fulfill tasks given by instructor after class 4. Use their own laptop in class only for learning purpose 5. Read the textbook in advance 6.
