Main objectives: Create a professional digital animation project following the design process: Research, define problems, reasons & goals, target audiences, competitors, define art directions, create moodboards, animation directions, scope of works, production timeline, throughout to the final products. The final products must present strong aesthetic abilities, acting skills in animation following 12 principles of animations, editing & composing techniques. The final works should bring a certain meaning to the community. Selected fields including: 2D Animated short film; 3D Animated short film; Stop-motion film; mixed-media film; Game (if the student passed ANO301). Students must work in a group. The number of members for each group, decided by the Head Academic of campus, could be variable from 2 to 3 students The project is done in 4 stages with feedback and discussion at each stage. Students are expected to discuss, organise, present and critique their work with a high level of professionalism, and implement research strategies that contribute to the overall finished project 1) Progress on Project (04 reports): 45% - Report 1: 15% - Report 2: 10% - Report 3: 10% - Report 4: 10% Mark of each report must be >= 4/10; 2) Final Documents (By Instructor): 5% Final Documents (By Instructor) >=4 3) Project Defense - Final Documents (By Council): 20%; - Oral Project Defense: 30% Project Defense >=4 4) Final results:100%; Final Result >=5/10 Final Document and Final Product must be submitted before deadline For Animation film, max 3 students in a group. For other options, max 2 students in a group.
