Graduation Thesis (For International Business)

The Graduation Thesis is an integrative experience that brings together various components of the undergraduate international business studies in a more applied setting and under a new perspective. It enables students to further their knowledge and skills in international business and related topics which they have found to be especially interesting or beneficial to them. As part of the course, students will learn about all aspects of the process of developing and carrying out the graduation thesis and gain an understanding of standards and expectations needed to successfully complete their dissertation. This thesis project will be completed by a group of 3-5 students, however each student will defend the thesis individually in front of a thesis committee. Each group of students will be supported by a supervisor, who will provide them with essential guidance in conducting a research, writing a thesis in a formal format and defending their arguments in front of the examination board. The thesis' topic is concerned with such areas as (1) international business strategies, (2) contemporary issues of cross-cultural business management, (3) global entrepreneurship, (4) global human resource management - current practices and future trends, (5) FDI in Vietnam, (6) ethical issues in international business, (7) international trade in the current global geo-political landscape and (8) international business practices towards sustainability
