Graduation Thesis (For Banking Concentration )

The thesis intends to integrate contents already covered in previous courses, as well as to provide an in-depth exploration of a topic of special interest or career relevance to the participant. This thesis project will be completed by a group of 4-6 students, however each student will defend the thesis individually in front of a thesis committee. Students must work closely with an academic supervisor and are required to submit a comprehensive written report as well as make an oral presentation of the research results in front of a professional academic panel. The thesis' topic is concerned with such areas as (1) the impact of Regulation on the Financial-Services Industry; (2) Financial Statements and Financial - Firm Performance; (3) Tools for Managing and Hedging against Risk; (4) Managing Investment portfolios and Liquidity position for Financial Firms; (5) Managing source of Funds for a Financial Firm; (6) Providing Loans to Businesses and Consumers
