This course provides an overview of the M&A process – from strategy and valuation to execution and post-merger integration management. Students develop an in-depth understanding of the appropriate skills and tools to successfully analyze all major elements of the acquisition process discussed in the local and global context. The course will require the application of what the student previously learned in other courses such as finance, accounting, business law, micro and macroeconomics, negotiation, and management. - Teaching method: Lectures, in-class practice assignments, problem-solving discussions, and team-based activities.

- Students must attend at least 80% of contact slots in order to be accepted to the final examination. - Actively participate in class activities - Student is responsible to do all exercises, assignments given by instructor in class or at home and submit on time. - Use laptop in class only for learning purpose. - Read the textbook in advance - Access the course website (www.flm.fpt.edu.vn) for up-to-date information and material of the course, for online supports from teachers and other students and for practicing and assessment.
