Description: This course addresses the basic concept of business law in the business environment. The course highlights the basic legal and regulatory requirements by which people and companies conduct business activities. It appreciates the complexities, ambiguities, and many areas of the law in undertaking business. Furthermore, it will focus on business ethics, which emphasizes the appropriate behaviors and treatments of business entities in global and local contexts. Objectives: Upon completing this course, student can demonstrate knowledge about the legal system and basic principles of business law as well as the relationship between ethics and regulations in the business environment. Students can compare the legal requirements and legal provisions of managing companies in the US and Vietnam and then ethically evaluate the application of laws in business transactions. Students are expected to be able to identify essential solutions for business disputes in compliance with applicable laws.
