The course covers a sufficient understanding of fundamental physics concepts, and helps students apply this conceptual understanding to quantitative problem solving. It also helps students to perceive underlying physics phenomena through practical lab sessions. Topic covered: Measurements, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetisms, Optics, Quantum Physics and Semiconductors.
