-Course Objectives: Master the art of persuasion through understanding ethos, pathos, and logos. Develop strong argumentation and critical thinking skills. Analyze and adapt to diverse audiences. Improve public speaking delivery, including vocal variety, body language, and eye contact. Utilize research to support persuasive claims. Construct persuasive speeches using various organizational patterns. Provide and receive constructive feedback on persuasive presentations. -Course Description: This course is designed to equip students with the essential skills to craft and deliver compelling persuasive speeches. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students will learn to analyze audiences, develop strong arguments, and effectively communicate their ideas. The course emphasizes critical thinking, research, and public speaking skills. Students will have the opportunity to practice their persuasive abilities through in-class presentations and receive constructive feedback from peers and the instructor. By the end of the course, students will be confident in their ability to persuade and influence others and equiped students with the soft skills necessary to thrive in today's competitive job market. -Teaching method: interactive and contructivist approach and/or Project Based Learning
