This practicum course is designed to give students the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge learned before to actual multimedia production situations. This course incorporates in its approach a combination of applied media aesthetics theory and hands-on production experience in video production. Students will gain a foundation for understanding media production theory, facilitating video production processes as well as creating and evaluating media products relating to a particular issue set by the course lecturer. A component of the course will permit the introduction of current topics such as media issues, professional video production techniques, changing media technology, and job market information. In addition, the course will also introduce some applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the video production process, allowing students to explore and utilize these advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of their media products. As a student of the class, you will sample a variety of production work through active team participation. Based on the quality of the video, your product might be published on FPT’s media platforms.
